UP Police Constable Recruitment 2022 - Eligibility Criteria

For direct recruitment to the skilled sportspersons quota for the post of Constable Civilian Police, it is necessary that the candidate should possess the following eligibility criteria for both education and sports qualification.

Educational Qualification

Must have passed Class XII by a Board established by law in India or any examination recognized by the Government as equivalent thereto.

Sports Ability

Any sportsperson who has participated in International/National level, senior or junior competitions organized by International/Indian Olympic Association and its affiliated sports federations or All India Police Sports Competitions organized under the patronage of All India Police Sports Control Board or All India University Association Should have earned medals or participated in any of the following sporting events given below, will be eligible for recruitment. The last 02 years will be counted on the basis of the last date of acceptance of the application form (dated- 31 October 2022).

• National Championship (Junior/Senior)
• Federation Cup National (Junior/Senior)
• All India Inter State Championship (Senior)
• All India Inter University Tournament
• World School Games (U-19).
• National School Sports (U-19)
• All India Police Sports Competition

Age Range

The candidate must have attained the age of 18 years as of 1st July 2022 and should not be more than 22 years of age, i.e. the candidate was born before 2nd July 2000 and should not have happened after 1st July 2004.

UP Police Constable Salary

All the selected Candidates will get a pay band of Rs. 5200-20200 and grand pay of 2000.
