NextGen Bankers Post Graduate Diploma in Banking and Finance is an advanced training program for the banking and financial sector. Bandhan-Konagar recognized the need to train capable candidates and created this unique program affiliated with Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT), West Bengal. The objective of the program is to develop skilled banking workforce.

Program structure

Bandhan School of Development Management (BSDM) One year full time residential course at its campus in Kolkata

Includes ten months of classroom training and two months of internship with reputed banks

The courses are built around various aspects of banking such as regulatory requirements, laws, processes, products and services

Monthly stipend is paid to the students during the duration of the course

On successful completion of the course, placement assistance is offered to the candidates

Eligibility criteria

Only Indian citizens are eligible

Age between 21 to 27 years at the time of application

Graduation in any discipline with first class in at least 2 of the last 3 examinations (Secondary, Higher Secondary, Graduation)

Selection

The selection process is conducted in different parts of the country (offline as well as online) and includes course counselling, aptitude test and personal interview. Details can be shared over e-mail.

Course fees

Rs.3,50,000 plus applicable taxes - Includes food and accommodation during the period of classroom training

After selection the students have to deposit Rs. 4,13,000

Loan facility is also available for eligible students with a down payment of Rs.1,00,000 which has to be submitted at the time of registration.

The remaining amount will be given as "Yuva Loan".
