- CDD: MA in Economics, Sociology, Political Science or Public Administration with 55%; PhD in those subjects; 8 years of teaching/research at Assistant Professor equivalent, in a university, college, accredited research institution or industry; 7 publications, including 5 Scopus-listed papers; research score 75.
- CSSCD: MA in Sociology, Social Anthropology or Social Work with 55%; PhD in Sociology, Social Anthropology or Social Work; 8 years of teaching/research at Assistant Professor equivalent, in a university, college, accredited research institution or industry; 7 publications, including 5 Scopus-listed papers; research score 75.
Other Eligibility Conditions
The Master’s degree must carry at least 55% marks, or an equivalent grade where a point-scale is followed. A 5% relaxation at the Master’s level is allowed for SC/ST, OBC (non-creamy layer) and differently-abled candidates.
