Eligibility

Sector Expert (S&L Division)

B.E./B.Tech with 60% or equivalent grade plus M.E./M.Tech or a postgraduate qualification in Energy Planning, Energy Management, Sustainable Energy, Environmental Studies or Environmental Science is essential. The candidate must have 5 years of experience in appliance standards and energy savings.

BEE Certified Energy Auditor/Manager certification is desirable.

Sector Expert (ADEETIE)

The essential route is B.E./B.Tech with 60% or equivalent grade plus M.E./M.Tech or the specified energy or environment postgraduate qualification. Five years of post-qualification domain experience in MSME is required.

BEE Certified Energy Auditor/Manager certification is desirable.

Sector Expert (ECSBC/Buildings)

B.E./B.Tech or B.Arch with 60% or equivalent grade plus the specified energy or environment postgraduate qualification is essential. Five years of experience covering ECBC, building energy simulation or green-building ratings is required.

ECBC Master Trainer, CMVP, and IGBC/LEED/GRIHA certificates are preferred.

Sector Expert (Artificial Intelligence)

B.E./B.Tech or a Computer Science bachelor's degree with 60% or equivalent grade, or an allied discipline as printed in the notice, plus M.E./M.Tech, M.Sc. in Computer Science, AI & ML or Data Analytics is required. Five years of experience in AI or data analytics for the energy sector is required.

The notification uses the term “allied discipline” without listing those disciplines. Candidates whose degree falls outside the named subjects should obtain written confirmation from BEE before applying.

Project Engineer (NECA)

B.E./B.Tech with 60% or equivalent grade and at least 1 year of experience in conducting examinations and in energy management or auditing is essential.
