The application process has started to fill 313 vacancies of Mining Sirdar in Eastern Coalfields Limited, a subsidiary of Coal India Limited. The application process will end on March 10. Eastern Coalfields Limited, a subsidiary of Coal India Limited engaged in coal mining in West Bengal & Jharkhand state, invites applications for the post of Mining Sirdar from Indian nationals for filling up the vacancies through On-line mode-

(i) All the above posts carry VDA & other admissible allowances as per National Coal Wage Agreement.
(ii) The number of posts advertised can be increased or decreased at the sole discretion of the management. The management also reserves the right to cancel the notified vacancies at its discretion & such decision will be final and binding to all. In event of cancellation of notified vacancies, the examination fee paid by the candidates will not be refundable.
(iii) Above Vacancies are not suitable for the PH candidate, and colour-blind candidate. These candidates are requested not to apply for the same.
Minimum Qualification:
i) 10+2 or equivalent.ii) Valid Mining Sirdarship Certificate of Competency from DGMS.
iii) Valid Gas Testing Certificate.
iv) Valid First Aid Certificate.
OR
i) Recognised Diploma or degree in Mining Engineering having valid statutory competency certificates, recognised by DGMS to work as Mining Sirdar in coal mines.
ii)Valid Gas Testing Certificate.
iii) Valid First Aid Certificate. Note-Candidate should possess all desired certificates/testimonials on or before first day of the opening of Online portal (i.e. 20/02/2022)
Age Limit:
i) The Cut-Off date for determining Age Limit Criteria will be 20/02/2022.
ii) Candidate must not be below 18 years and of age as on 20/02/2022.
ECL Recruitment Vacancy Details:
This recruitment drive is being conducted to fill up 313 posts out of which 127 for General Category, 30 for EWS Category, 83 for OBC (NCL), 46 for SC Category and 23 for ST are for class.ECL Recruitment Age Limit:
Candidate age should not be less than 18 years and maximum age of candidates should not be more than 30 years.
ECL Recruitment Application Fee:
Candidates have to pay ₹1000 as application fee. Candidates can pay the application fee through online mode i.e. Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking etc. SC/ ST, Ex-Servicemen and Women candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.
